Alexander Meyer began his career in the human services field in 2010. His work began as a youth counselor, mental health behavioral aid, and chemical dependency counselor for children and adolescents. Over the past few years he has been providing mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. He completed his Master’s in Social Work at Walden University and is currently a student of Doctoral of Social Work at Walden University. He utilizes a behavioral modification approach as well as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and person-centered therapy efforts.

Taylor started in the mental health field in 2016 working in administration and billing. Her experience and knowledge has allowed her to become involved in many other aspects of Compass North. Taylor is honored that she has been able to be a part of the space and services that Compass North has been able to provide to the community and looks forward to what's to come!  When Taylor isn’t working you can find her at home with her husband and their two dogs, Abby and Sadie, walking the trails or cuddled up on the couch. She also enjoys reading, traveling, going to concerts and visiting friends and family.

Valerie Hawkinson earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2013 and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). She serves as the Clinical Director at Compass North, where she provides clinical oversight and leadership for outpatient mental health services.
Valerie brings extensive experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities, as well as supporting their families. Her background in intensive behavioral therapy and community-based mental health informs her commitment to high-quality, ethical, and client-centered care. She is passionate about supporting clinicians, strengthening programming, and ensuring services remain effective, compassionate, and responsive to community needs.

Vienna started working at Compass North in the spring of 2021 and is proud of the good that the company has brought to the community. She enjoys working for a clinic that values other people's needs; not only of the clients but the staff as well.

Vienna loves spending her time with her husband Gabe, playing with her dogs Rambo and Rosie, working out at the gym, and going to church.

 I am extremely excited to work in an atmosphere that promotes healing and restoration. My husband Denny and I have two incredible kids, Logan and Paisley. We have two, four-legged family members, Bear and Sunny who make our family complete. We love spending time together with family and friends, game nights, trying new foods and restaurants, enjoying the beautiful sights of MN from our motorcycle, and being involved in various ministries with our church.

I look forward to contributing to the positive impact Compass North brings to our community and embracing the personal growth opportunities this role offers! A little about me; my life revolves around my two kids. We love going on adventures, especially camping, lake days, and spontaneous drives to catch sunsets. We also cherish spending quality time with my family and friends.
